easy palette
shape library= heart
place heart on the right side of the canvas
it will be a plain, 2D dark green heart
After you process it, this will become FRAME 1

OPEN easy palette= Material Gallery metallic M17
this is a really pretty silver heart you can experiment with the
many other pre-sets later
and decorate this later
DROP SHADOW:object shadow= option1
X OFFSET=5
Y OFFSET= 5
TRANSPARENCY= 66
SHADOW SIZE= 100
SOFT EDGE= 6
save this frame as closed.jpg

copy the heart and paste it to the left line it up carefully
this is FRAME2= save this as open.jpg
go to bevel in Material Attribute Gallery
highlight Obj 1, the heart on the right and press B05,
which will give you a recessed bevel
you can bevel the other side also, if you like

Open Animation Shop and test the frames to see how well you lined them up :-)
set the speed=closed D=222 open= D=444 I usually set it so that it is open twice as long as it's closed
4 ADDING A PHOTO and decorating the locket

Open Material Gallery and add a metallic Initial to the locket face FRAME 1= closed.jpg
Open a photo and copy/paste it to the recessed heart FRAME 2= open.jpg
very carefully erase around the picture
ANIMATION
Open Animation Shop and test the frames to see how well you lined them up :-)
set the speed=closed D=222 open= D=444 I usually set it so that it is open twice as long as it's closed
experiment with the numbers
you may like a different speed than I do
save it as a gif
